- Tegoroczne nominacje dowodzą nie tylko nieustającej mocy bluesa, ale są również dowodem na ciągłe ewoluowanie gatunku i wywieranie piętna na fanach - mówi Jay Sieleman, dyrektor wykonawczy The Blues Foundation. Fundacja wręczy nagrody już po raz 32. na gali zaplanowanej na 5 maja 2011 roku w Memphis. To najważniejsze nagrody w świecie światowego bluesa. Ale żeby wziąć udział w głosowaniu, trzeba płacić co roku od kiludziesięciu do kilkuset dolarów.
